Two ecommerce websites for sale! Revenue and great layouts!

Hi, up for sale are two ecommerce websites that go TOGETHER as they share one account. We had custom logos created which costed us about $200 alone. These websites run through Shopster so maintaining and taking over the sites will be a breeze. Shopster also costed $100 to setup.

These are dropship websites except it is all automated. All you do is get a check or money in your Paypal. The customer support is also handled for you already. There are virtually 0 hours of work unless you want to work on the site. For more info on Shopster, PM me.

http://www.ModernMonster.com - Electronics based websites that has made a couple sales. It has a great logo and sticks in people's minds. I have a logo with a christmas hat on the monster so you can use that during the holidays. This site is about 9 months old.

http://www.SmoothScents.com - Fragrance based website. It has not been around nearly as long as Modern Monster and we have only started promotin it a little. It is a great looking site and has very good prices. This site is about 4 months old.

These websites have made about $40 in revenue from Modern Monster so far. The traffic was about 50-200 uniques a day on Modern Monster and about 50 a day on Smooth Scents until the stat program went down on Shopster. I have no proof but this is what it was at before.

Best of all, I will keep promoting these websites after the sale. I have made a couple of coupons for them that are very small (5-8% off) and I give out anywhere from 2-20 a day to people fairly interested in what you have to offer. These are great for traffic and you will still make good revenue since they are not big coupons. I will continue to do this for a long time (at least a year most likely) or until you say to stop. All I need is you to keep the coupons active that already are.

PM me with questions or proof of revenue. Also, if you want to know more about Shopster then also PM us.

    Starting Bid: $300
    BIN: $400

I have a question about Shopster sites. Will I have access to the source code to make changes and optimize the site? What are the margins for each site's products? And a quick overview of how Shopster works with the site would be great.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi, yes you can make changes to the site and customize it however you want. There are many sites that run on Shopster and you would never guess it. There may be some limitations on it but for the most part, you can do whatever you want. Some popular sites hosted on Shopster like http://shop.i4u.com/ have very good, custom designs so obviously there is room for a lot of work to be done.

The margins are whatever you want them. I keep the margins as low as possible to keep my prices good. You can make a few hundred dollars on a sale of a plasma or maybe a couple bucks on some earphones. I just do it relative to what the item usually goes for. My margins range from all over the place and most can EASILY be raised. Smooth Scents has margins that are around 20-25% but the prices on the site are very low. You can easily bump it up. I just chose low prices in hopes to attract more customers.

Shopster is very simple. You pay 30 bucks a month and they do everything. You get hosting with unlimited bandwith. They take care of customer support. They order and ship your item. They provide you with different layout options and optional personal customization. They give you a warehouse of about 1 million products to choose from and it is as simple as clicking "add to site" to put the item on your website. You just pick the price and category and they already have the description and picture. You have virtually no work. That is why I chose to open stores with Shopster, they really take care of everything for you.

    Thanks!

BIN LOWERED TO $375. NEED A QUICK SALE!

Who chooses the pricing of the items? Do you or Shopster.

Do shoppers trust these small independent sites enough to make purchases?

How much in percentage of the sale price of the items do you earn in commission?

We get to choose the prices. Shopster gives the wholesale price and suggested price you should sell it for but you make all the decisions.

Yes, shoppers do trust these stores. They do not know it runs off of Shopster and the design looks professional. It is also secure with Secure2U so it is not like they think you are some small company. And yes, they do make purchases as I have made three sales. Also, there are many big stores that run off Shopster that no one knows.

The percentage just depends on how much you mark up the item. You get to decide. Like for plasma tvs, I have a very small margin as they are so expensive and I will still make a lot of money on them. For small things, usually my margin is pretty high. You can make the prices whatever you want to make whatever you want. You just have to remember to stay competitive.

Is the money you earn the markup above their suggested price. For example, if Shopster suggests a price of $100, and you price it at $105, the profit will be $5 for yourself. Is this how it works? If it is, why would they come to shop at your store when bigger rivals like Amazon will possibly have matching or even more competitive prices?

No that is not how it works. It works like this. This is basically what Shopster says.

    Wholesale Prices: $59.95
    Transaction Fee: $0.50
    Total Price: $60.45
    Suggested Retail: $99.95

So you get it for 60.45 and the suggested retail is 99.95. Of course, there are always suggested retail prices higher than you can make it but if the prices were bad, no one would buy from me and no stores running on Shopster would make money. So obviously, Shopster has to have decent prices and people are making good profit or else they wouldn't stick around.
