Does PayPal allow two currencies on one account? I already have an account with them that is accepting US$ but I want to accept payment from sites that are paying pounds.
probably u can aaccept the payments but i think paypal will convert it. i recently bought skype credit in pounds but my account is in USD
You can use the PayPal account with multiple currencies. By default, there is US $. Hence, if you receive money in pound or Euro or other currencies then they will be converted to US $. However, if you do not want to convert those payments then you need to open currencies in the paypal account. Go to Profile => Currency Balances => Select a New currency from the drop down list and then Add Currency.
Currency management in PayPal is straightforward and simple, they do allow multiple currencies and you can exchange all to one currency when you need to. However, don't expect the best rates when converting currency.
Sure PayPal allow two (or more) currencies. I use US dollars and euro You should specify a default currency (US dollars for example) and you're OK.
You can accept any currency (that paypal allows) When I receive money its not converted to my default currency Thus currently I have two balances Euro and Dollars and if I have to pay lets say in Euro it first deducts from the Euro Balance and if this runs out it get money from the US balance ...
That too cleared my doubts i would have otherwise created a new thread but INR is not supported here....reps 4 u
absouletely nothing I got three currencies on my PayPal and they get listed one after the other and at the bottom is a "Total amount" that converts to your domestic currency and shows a total according to the standard exchange rate.
