Two adsense accounts bound to same bank account

Discussion in 'Guidelines / Compliance' started by karabas, Dec 11, 2008.

My wife recently created some websites and opened her own adsense account to monetize them. I already have an adsense account for myself.

I know that google is quite strict about multiple accounts for the same user.

Could it potentially cause trouble for either of us if she sets up EFT for the same bank account that my adsense account is set up for?

I think you should be okay... different SSN or EIN #'s. For example, Google lets you have a personal acct and then an acct just for each biz entity. I always suggest that when in doubt, ask Google.

Google will not allow you to do such thing. It must be a different account number (different entity).

It is also safer, incase one account is banned, the other will not have any relationship to it.

    Peace,

two people in the same household can have their own account.it is best if you email google and tell them so.

as for EFT,in the adsense account, if it allows you to add a bank account that is tied to another account then yes you can.if it won't,then no. ;)
    if it doesn't,email google.

Are you want to indicate about joint account? I think you should do with two separate accounts.

Two persons in a house can have different adsense accounts . But in your case , your wife should have a separate bank account .

Google can detect the accounts come from the same IP address. If something happen, the other account may get affected also... for example.. BANNED. The best is email Google and tell them about this so that they take note on this first.

I have written to Google and received a reply from my Account manager saying that you must have different bank accounts. You cannot have two Adsense accounts going to one bank account.

    It's funny.

I wrote google support over a week ago and just got a reply that you can have multiple AdSense accounts with same bank account and address so long as names and SSNs are different.

Yeh it was a different payee name, as it was mentioned in the Adsense FAQ's. After an email conversation with ASO Exec, I have applied again, they said they will be re-review it again probably after new yr.

If you're making even a small amount of money, it's probably worth setting up a business and having a business account anyway, as you can get some tax breaks this way. I have an LLC and it doesn't cost a lot to set up and isn't that big of a deal to maintain.

    Good luck!
