    just get a refund? Godaddy and most registrars have a 30 - 45 day grace period for a refund. Don't know why you'd let a $40 domain expire

    30-45 days, really ? Can you give me any link, because as per my knowledge domain can be cancelled within 24 hours.

    Too tired and lazy to read properly. Refund period of GoDaddy is 5 days? Depending on TLD.

    Don't have a link, just experience. I called up godaddy customer service about a month ago because I had registered the wrong domain, and wanted to switch it out for another one. Decided I just didn't even want it. Customer Rep told me about the grace period. So what I did? Got a refund on 5 domains I no longer wanted. It was a good day
