I used it once as both an advertiser and tweeter. Success with either = 0. My tweeted advertisement yielded no hits and I don't even know if the ad was even tweeted. And my ability to respond to an opportunity to advertise wasn't available. I got the opportunity emails, but when logging in, the opportunity was nowhere to be found. Support was nil, so I closed my account.

I guess people has to respond to the tweets to make it work? I don't know.

If a service doesn't answer back, I guess it's the right thing to do what you did.:)

I tried it one time, wasn't impressed
I don't care for the spammy tweets from the people I follow, If I see them, I'll generally unfollow.

    Hi,

I think the whole idea of Twitter is a bit miss-understood. Don't forget that whenever you tweet an opportunity with a link to your site then that is a backlink which you can repeat as many times as you like.

The essence as I see it if you want to sell an opportunity is by building up relationships with the other Tweeters who are in your group so you have to be proactive as it will not do the work for you. If others in your group trust and like you then they may well visit your site and a sale may follow.

    Mal.

Sptwt is OK service. They do suggest price per tweet based on your followers number, but I recommend you try first with very low price and then, depends on demand you can raise it for every new ad.

More real followers, more money you can make.

Awesome, never heard of it before (I only knew about RevTwt). Do they have affiliate links? Anyways, the OP can always send me his URL so I can sign up through his link as thanks for creating this post.. it's optional though :)

Would like to hear some more success stories if possible ;)

Hm, you always find about new things every day; I have tried a few of these types of things, they didn't work out so well. This has a little promise, but I will watch it.

Success with twitter depends on what you are trying to sell I think. I haven't any success with it for my insurance site. I buddy of mine gets a lot of traffic from twitter though.

Fact. Targetting the right audience might help though ;) Search for people tweeting about an insurance problem or a similar keyphrase and follow them at tweet with information about everything. @Speak to them directly too about it, tell them that they can find more information about it on your site (and send them to the direct URL).

    Just a hint :D
