What are some of the common tricky ways people use to get Twitter followers? Any favorite tools or techniques?
Tricky ways are not good in the long run. They will backfire since you won't have any followers that are actually read your tweets. It's best to just post interesting tweets and interact with people. It takes time but it'll be very effective in the long run. -Danielle
If you do search on Google you will get many articles that telling people how to get hundreds of twitter followers. But nothing worked like that you need to build your relationship with other and try to be active user you will learn all the things easily.
How about the oldest trick in the book of "Follow others to be followed". That's what I would suggest.
The simple technique is search the related term or niche in Twitter and then follow the person who tweet that message will definitely help u to get more followers as well as traffic to your blog/site...
I just lost my Twitter account for using Hummingbird. Auto follow / unfollow. Worked for about a week. Had about 1000 followers. Now I can't login. $97, what a waste.
Earlier I was using tool of John Chow to get some followers ! And you will automatically get more if you follow them. - Digital -
That's basically just throwing money away. For one, you would have to go through each and every follower to see if they're even genuine and relevant to your niche. And even if they are, they were interested in the other person's tweets, they're going to notice a difference and stop following. -Danielle
Write really interesting and informative tweets to trick people into reading your twitter page and wanting to read it again and again.
you may use xaviermedia twitter system...copy and paste this url -> 2ve.org/xQQB/ you will have thousands of followers in no time.
a real way to get followers is to use hashtags ( # ) use hashtags for the important words in your tweet message, your message will show up in tweet searches...thus you will get followers of common interest.
Whatever you do, do it slowly. Mass following will get you banned quicker than you can say 'twit'. Twitter will not bring much traffic to your site anyways. You may be able to push some products if you have a lot of followers, but I have not tried that. I only heard it being done by people having 20,000 and over followers. I don't have that many yet nor do I care if I get that many. I just use Twitter to establish my brand and also get Google to index some of my blog posts faster.
