I was just searching in G and noticed that Twitter Tweets are in the SERPS.

    Try this

Search for Taylor Lautner in Google.

you will see the Tweets right at the top.

This also happens to me when I search for my blog on Google. There's a result leading to my Twiiter homepage.
So this means Twitter is indeed very helpful. Am I right?

I think this is what they call "Real Time Search". But anyway, I don't like them even.

If it helps to boost the traffic and other people have the same facility enabled, its worth pursuing traffic from twitter, if you can spare the time.

That is annoying. Indexing some tweets can make spammers motivated to post more on social networking sites.

I love this feature. Matter of fact Google should remove all the other spam crap results and just become Twitter.

Google -> search keyword -> show options -> lastest, you will see what Google do.

Not for only twitter, for many web.

It seems to be random whether I see it or not, I have mixed feelings on it. Overall I think its neat, but I think its also quick to glance over depending on the topic.

This is a major update that happened recently, plenty of people are talking about it and plenty are concerned. These real time results are pushing the usual search terms to the bottom of the results, this only seems to be happening for certain searches so it is not clear if the feature has been fully turned on yet. This "could" be really bad for standard SEO or may not make much of a difference, time will tell.
