Twitter traffic

I held a twitter party over the weekend, with massive results and awesome flow through to my site Will be holding another one this coming Sunday if anyone is keen to sponsor it.

 

With Twitter it's all about the relationship, not the amount of followers.

 

Would you kindly share the techniques how to do that?

 

Twitter traffic is good for getting traffic but its really hard.

I found a lot of traffic from twitter or facebook.
both the site are very good. twitter is a good source to provides you a strong traffic.
Do some activities on twitter (visit to other's profile, make friends, visit to other's post)
You definitely got the traffic man.

 

For me, it's more on the quality , not the quantity. It's ok that I only have 2,000 followers as long as I get in touch and build good relationships with them all at the same time. In the end, it's how they will help you promote your site matters.

 

i got around 1k to 2k visitors daily from twitter cuz i have around 100k visitors as my followers

you have to post as many tweets as possible on twitter and if you have more followers and more tweet topics then you can receive more traffic from twitter.

 

I do not think so. Do you think that stressing the others with lots of tweets is the key to success? I consider the ones who post more than 60 tweets per hours as spammers, because I get full of their tweets..

 

ok so everybody says twitter can give you traffic, but how to make them your site customers, any idea? Myself know how to get traffic from twitter, but they dont convert to anything. They like to check on sites but buying from your site or at least show interest in your site items? No...

 

@ wokaka : yeah, i do agree with you. We can't rely on Twitter traffic as most of them are just visitors and it's hard to get them converted. It's all about our products/features/services/RATES which matters a lot.

Or do any of you even know the difference between an actual page viewing visitor, a hit, or a bot?

In the industry, we call them "Bot Swarms" ..

People don't just blindly pour into your website after a tweet .. but every nafarious bot from site scrapers to automated internet hacks do .. they're all over you the instant you post that Tweet. Because of Twitter's popularity, you got every insidious bottom feeder on the internet visiting you every time you Tweet something .. this is Twitter .. in a nutshell.

When you Tweet .. you aren't getting 200 real human visitors .. you're getting 200 automated site parsing agents.

I may get 60% bots, according to my stats, but 40% are real people, and convert to members

 

sorry but that member conversion, free members or something that benefit you materially? If it doesnt benefit you in material ways, then it's still nothing. Dont tell me "oh but they are still members and they will make my site goes viral", well wake up dear...nothing goes viral nowadays unless you seriously have something super unique on the net
