Twitter Tools and WordPress - Little Help?

Ok I hope this is close enough to the right place ...

I've hacked around in Twitter Tools (http://alexking.org/projects/wordpress) trying to figure out how to get my blog posts from Twitter to have a live clickable link.

When you use the sidebar option (which I don't) you get a live link but the actual blog posts have a dead link. You can see examples here: http://www.dennisdornon.com/seo-thoughts/

I tried searching but the tools name and what I'm looking for is so generic it hasn't been any help.

If anyone has figured this out or knows how to please fill me in.

    Hi Dennis,

I'm using a Wordpress plugin called Twitter for Wordpress which works as a Widget. It does exactly what you need.

Thanks Ikki but if I'm reading the page right it just puts the tweets in the sidebar (Please correct me if I'm wrong) it doesn't actually create individual posts like Twitter Tools does.

Take a look at the Dennis Dornon site above and you'll see what I'm taking about.

OK, I got what you mean now. Is there any chance I can take a peek into your plugin? If so, please upload it somewhere so I can check it out and maybe find a solution for you.

Thanks I really appreciate you looking into it.

I haven't done any custom coding on http://alexking.org/projects/wordpress plugin so that may have all the source code your looking for.

I'm not sure how to do anything else but copy and paste the plugin code from Plugin edit screen otherwise.

I'd actually recommend using pingpressfm (google it) basically it sends a mini post via pingfm to all the social networks, this hugely builds your blog's awareness. Instead of posting to just twitter you can post to twitter, identica, pownce, brightkite, facebook, blogger, tumblr, etc....
