Hi, I will teach you how to create Twitter niche keyword cloud, and some nice Twitter SEO tips. First of all we should know what is the niche we will twit about. If you are the website owner, figure out your website's keywords, most of them should fit your website niche. To get more quality followers and friends you should be conscious with your tweets, you can talk around with people, but remember, all your tweets are fetched by RSS readers and search engines, every single tweet is like unique website post. So , every time you tweet or answer other tweet, make sure you are using at least one of your website or business keywords. It's hard , I know but you can do it once per 3-4 tweets. Don't forget about it. Generate and compare good search term cloud with Contacted http://www.contacted.org , if you found useful tweets with links, save them , find twitter users with lots of followers, retweet them and talk about them, most of them will talk about you too , check out what niche they use to get more followers and if this niche is good for your twitter timeline. I hope this post will help to get more followers, if you have any other methods , or if you want me to share more, post it here. Have a happy tweet day.
Yes it is useful information but still i want to know how twitter more helpful to SEO in gaining SERP.
I do what you had said about keywords about twice a week. this is what I would update. Having your daily coffee how about a daily joke to go with it. I have noticed those day's i get quite a few visit's from twitter from my follower's so it does work and it's not spamming.
Your Twitter account is like independent website, every piece of information you are twitting is like new website post, all crawled with SERPS. If you link your twitter account with your website and twitting properly , your twitter account becomes part of your website. If you don't tweeting using keywords, it's just a time loss ..

Good one -http://webworkerdaily.com/2007/03/15/eight-ways-twitter-is-useful-professionally/ i found this useful.
Hmmm interesting. Never cared for the concept of what Twitter was (keeping everyone aware of your up to the minute updates), however, seeing as that it can be integrated and used for SEO purposes then why not give it a shot.
When I post my URL on twitter, it turns into some other itsy bitsy URL. Is it a problem with respect to SEO. Should I use tinyurl? Thanks
I find the same problem, I guess the is not a valid backlink. I have send url on facebook. the visitor from facebook is little. What's wrong?
Personally, I use twitter to generate traffic to my main site. If done properly, it will result to a blast of hits to your website. But right now, I only received good amount, not that huge, but still I get some. Well, if you have time, follow me on twitter http://twitter.com/music_business
Sorry, but i don't think Twitter is any better for SEO than any link directory or forum signature (i.e. it matters very little) - any site that host millions of outgoing links with millions of anchor texts cannot be considered as a very reliable source (SERP's now tend to rank blogger sub domains very low - is just one evidence) . The time and effort it takes to gather new followers is tremendous and unless you're there for fun or getting to know people, the SEO benefits are minimal and better be invested else where. This can change in the future, if Google starts recognizing Twitter as a reliable source, as it did with Facebook, which now has considerable strength in SERP's for personal and company pages.
