The domains including "Tweet" are TM infringements, I'm pretty sure. TwitUploads is also pointless, IMO -- Reg fee.
I would suggest you do some homework for your domains to see if they are usable. Look at Twitters "Permissible Use of Referential Trademark Usage" (may not be in those exact terms). Most companies will allow you to use their TM's as long as proper credit is given to them. This requires you doing some homework on your part. It makes it a little harder to get a proper site up with this, but could be profitable. Many people out there do not want to put in the time and effort into Permissible use of TMs. Its a lot easier not to get involved with any TM issues or possible TM issues. For these domains, you need to find the right person who can develop them or do the work your self. I dont see the payoff being large enough for someone to buy them and do the appropriate work needed. Sorry, Just my opinion.
thanks very much for the info..I was unaware of twitter actually trademarking the word "Tweet"...I'll let them drop
If you just regg'd them in the past 24hrs, you could get a refund from the registrar, I believe. I'm 99% sure about the TM, but you might wanna look it up.
yeah the tm can be a pain see if you can get your money back else maybe see if the company will allow you to use them with proper linking and credit and disclaimers
Hello, I would not let the domain name go because the name Tweet is a trademark and I don't think they would shut you down because you are promoting them the only thing I would do is if you plan on spending alot of money building a site or blog just send them a email and see what they have to say.
