I've been using Twitter fairly effectively for marketing - nothing stellar but it seems to be helping - and I have a basic question that someone is bound to know. I've got enough followers now to where I find it difficult to find who I am following that is not following me. There's got to be a tool out there that finds that out but I haven't been able to locate it. Any Twitter aficionados out there who can help me out?
There is definitely a tool for that. In fact I have write an article about that. Here is the article. http://www.ridiculousblogger.com/2009/08/11/how-i-got-860-followers-in-6-days/
imo, it doesn't matter if you have 2,000 followers or more if they not really following you what i mean to say, its better to get real twitter people on your list rather than robotic twitter friend
I couldn't agree more. But I'm pretty sure that I'm getting pretty good page hits from Twitter. I try to always provide good content. My profile is weak, though, and I have no picture, etc. But one thing at a time. Anyway, if you have any more comments, please let me know as I'm a newbie...
I like the tool here: www(dot)dossy.org/twitter/karma/ You can see who is following/not following you and bulk follow/unfollow too. (Sorry cannot post a live link yet- not enough posts)
Twitter can be an effective marketing solution if you use it properly. The number of followers doesn't matter if they are not really interestin in you and just following to be "followed" back then. You and your character must have some memorable and unique with a class to attract peoples come after you. Otherwise is useless.
You can also use tools like Buzzom to bulk find and add other Twitter users, but like many have said before me, it's better to have interaction with real people. Also available is the Twitter client Hummingbird which will allow you to search and automatically add people by many different queries.
