    I'm noticing that when I start adding friends, I can see in my twitter acount that the ones I'm following does not increase along with the number of friends I've added in that current adding session.

    example, I have 1700 that I'm following I ad 30 new friends, twitter says that I am now following 1715. it should be 1730. and I know that these 30 are new freinds that I have not added in the past and they aren't closed accounts, they are active twitter accounts so there should be no problem signing them up.

    what could be the problem as to why I'm not adding friends?

    thanks

    so you don't think i can continue to add friends properly or are you saying to continue adding friends but I'm only going to get whatever twitter will allow?

    at this point, it will be a waste of time to try to add friends if only 1/3 of my follows even get recognized but I have a large list of followers already and don't want to throw away the account.

    thanks for the help

    i havent had that problem - but sometimes you cant see that they arent active and you click to follow - you then get a message saying something like they arent active - or some such thing.

    Ok did any of that make sense :confused:

    You may have followed someone that either:

    * canceled their account.
    * got their account suspended.
    * blocked you for some reason.

    If you use socialtoo.com, you can get a daily report that shows you who followed you AND anyone that unfollowed you.

    But at the end of the day, it's not worth spending a lot of time on. Just connect with those that you DO have and let the rest of that stuff work itself out.
