Twitter plugin in blog

    Is it a good idea to have a twitter plugin in a blog? Can't seem to think of any way this can be used for promotional means other than just eye-candy.

    Well I guess it's because I'm not a twitter. But perhaps if i should start an account and try it out, might view it in a different light.

    What do you think?

    yes of course. A Blog is your online BIO. Inserting a Twitter apps in your blog is a great way to promote your twitter account as well as adding a new useful gadget on your blog.

    Yes, open an account, make yourself a nice custom background, follow like people and websites, and participate.
    I run promotions and giveaways on Twitter all the time and it works great.

    Some use twitter plugins to keep their visitors updated on your new articles on your blog and also a good way to promote/advertise your website through twitter.

    You'd be surprised how many people will follow you on twitter. The wordpress addon is great.
