Twitter photos to appear without having to click the link

For Twitter, how can we get our photos to appear without having to click the link? (I've seen other photos on Twitter, so it must be possible.) Every time I try to place a photo it is a clickable link and not a displayed photo.

Am I missing something here?

 

It depends on the domain/image sharing website you use. Pictures from Twitpic, yFrog etc. (or images directly uploaded via Twitter) are always embedded in tweets.

 

When I use this I only see a link though and I want to see the photo instead of the clickable link. I see posts where you see the photo without clicking the link. Here is an example from Twitpic showing only a clickable link.

 

Have you tried uploading images via Twitter? Tweets with the link pic.twitter.com always show the image as a thumbnail.

 

pic.twitter.com to me right to twitter. I try posting a tweet, click the camera for an image and it posts as a link. It says so each time I add one as well

 

That is strange, I always see thumbnails:

 

Your pictures will be expanded in other people's timelines if they follow you. In your twitter profile they're collapsed, but in other people's timelines they will be visible. Don't worry about it.

 

If you say so. But, when I log in as a client and look at my test post, I see a link.
