What are you on about? Facebook isn't about gaining an audience from you friends list, it's about adding the functionality into your site, the share buttons, the likes, the albums, the comments... if you're spamming your friends list with your personal page- then you're doing it all wrong. A good campaign or website with the mentioned features/app's shits all over Twitter... a good website doesn't even need to be self promoted, if your audience likes your shit then it's self promoted by your visitors. Twitter has little viral capacity compared to facebook viral-ness.

Well said, Facebook is a more personalized than Twitter. You can't promote your product with that effect on Facebook as you can do it on Twitter. The reach is extensive and message rolls out to more people in no time. You get to have interactive replies over Twitter as compared to Facebook.

No denial about their uniqueness in their own particular ways. Google+ is another useful platform emerging now a days.

The power of social media marketing has no limit. If you use both in your business, you can achieve more targeted audience or traffic to your site. On twitter, there is a limit to type in your messages with a maximum number of 140 characters only while in facebook none. But you should not make choices about this because if you are promoting your product you must have many connections or ways to do it.

I personally use both of them in doing SMO techniques by using NetworkedBlogs and RSS.Graffiti application for Facebook. The reason is that both of them can make our blog posting be published automatically in your Facebook and Twitter status

Well it's not about the popularity. It's about the access to more people and if we compare them on these grounds than Twitter has more unarguably more reach as compared to Facebook. It's way more instant than Facebook which takes time. But Twitter is pretty fast.

well, I closed my Facebook account. As a marketer, you are probably wondering why? Facebook has way too many distractions for me. I like Twitter because I can tweet my blog posts, the Universe loves speed and Twitter is speedy! :D
