Twitter....Is it good or wasting time?

well starting it was good . but now its a place where people only SPAM . its a waste of time for me atleast .

 

Even twitter is better then facebook and all other social network for traffic.

 

Yes, twitter is good for gaining quality traffic (few months or years) back then. But today, twitter spamming is rampant. (including me) hehe.. That's some artists and popular icons have stopped using twitter. But its still good up to this moment but not as good as it was before.

For most people wanting to promote a site Twitter is a waste of time... not because there is anything inherently wrong with Twitter itself... but because the people using it to promote sites don't understand "how" to use it to promote their site. They don't get the fact that you do NOT want to spam links to your site. They don't understand that only 1 of every 100 or more Tweets should be used to promote their site. They end up alienating all of their followers by spamming self promoting Tweets.

 

I opened an account a few days ago..let´s see if twitter can increase my traffic

 

Twitter is a very good source of traffic but have to work smartly to get results

 

twitter is the spam-haven of them all. All you'll find there is links. Nonetheless if you've got a lot of genuine followers you can monetize your account quickly and make considerable amounts.

 

Yeah, twitter help to promote your services and products.... make sure you don't just spam rather contribute helpful tips and post.

 

Twiiter can be used to generate great amounts of traffic to your website, provided:

1. You develop an excellent follwer base
2. Constantly send out links & updates people to check
3. Retweet valuable information

 

I am getting very good traffic from twitter, even I have got so many sales generated with the help of twitter, so my advice is to keep on using twitter for your business

 

It's good for traffic and maybe some sales if you have good followers.

I do get spikes in traffic from twitter. I auto-post the latest articles from my article directory as well as offer simple SEO and marketing tips to my readers. I am going to stick with it I think.

 

Twitter in the right hands IS GREAT, however i can see how other business owners with little knowledge cannot get it working for them. I have a huge network on their and Twitter added to my other networks makes GREAT BUSINESS SENSE.

I believe twitter is good, but it depends on the site your trying to market. Remember, twitter is supposed to be socially appealing so if your site is about something that is extremely boring and not a good source of social vibe than its going to take you more work for traffic. I also think that twitter is good source of traffic. And also some researches proove that (it has greater response rate).

 

In my opinion if u have long list of followers then it would be good for you.

 

Seo, blakbelt tells the truth about the tons, although, if you don't get traffic - you would not be making any earnings. So due to big number of twitter users, I'd say that it is worth a sin.
