Twitter is it good or a waste of time?

What do you think?

 

its a great search engine and source of instant news...*prays for a positive tweet from her "new macbook pro" saved search on tweetdeck*

Im not really so convinced on the "networking" though compared to other sites

If you are referring to monetization benefits out of it, I am yet to figure out how to go about it and find it really waste of time... at least as of now!

Having said that, it does provide a good platform for people to keep in touch with each other and share their daily experiences in tits bits... instantly!

Depends on the person trying to monetize. I personally find it good for traffic and made some good money with it through cpa so it is up to the person using it.

 

Yes...but from my point of view more as real-time news & search engine rather than social networking

 

I have used twitter for getting traffic with some success....my poll answer =good, there are quite a number of successful strategies out there, many of which i have yet to explore

 

Twitter is the best. I got good traffic from it.

 

I'd find it a lot more useful if they extended the amount of text space for tweets.

 

Twitter is a great way for a website that has followers to create an additional way of contact and sense of community.

Twitter is good if used correctly. I am lacking something so I get around 5 - 10 visits from twitter. What can I do to get great visits from twitter ?

 

twitter is pretty good once you build up a large following...thats the hard part.

 

Anything that gets that kind of traffic on a daily basis is going to be good for something. Asking a vague question like that is easy...Of course it has its good points. It was a nice relief from things especially when facebook changed all their stuff up. Its cool to see whats trending too not to mention how easy it to get news. The more popular it gets, the easier and better Twitter will get.

 

I have many autoblogs that do great with Twitter traffic. If you build some automated scripts to follow and unfollow you'll bring in some quick and easy traffic.

 

I have been trying to use tweeter to moneytise my new blog. But yet to have good results. May be I'm using the wrong strategy.

 

I haven't used twitter for advertisement, but I don't normally check other people's tweets specially when know that they are advertising something. BtW , I do check those tweets which interests me. So, it can be a good one if the ad is something that can excite the users.

 

Twitter is good. I use it for marketing purposes and to stay in touch with friends

 

Its very useful when you know how to target your audience.
