Twitter - IP reported as hack but was from IP reporting harrassment

    I received a twitter post that was directed to me and was defamatory. I flagged it immediately as harassment. The sender of the account claims the account was 'hacked' and then stated my IP address was the source. I dont have access to their account, nor would defame myself. The only thing I can count is that the moment I flagged and reported the tweet. It is literally impossible to contact twitter on this as they have a very select support process. Any ideas?
