Twitter.ie for sale. No trademark infringement on this one guys as it is a dictionary word.
Earned €98 from July 7 - December 11 2009 on Adsense for domains when I took it off with plans to build a site. It has alexa rank of 4 million.

Sure it will be worth a bit when twitter go expanding their empire.

    Any questions ,pm me.
    Serious offers only.

There are plenty of words in the dictionary that are trademarked. For example the word "monopoly" is a commonly used dictionary word. It also happens to be a strong trademark for a board game. What matters is how the word is used and the potential for confusion with the mark holder. For example, you could use "Twitter" as the name of your bird club, and no one would confuse it with the internet service. But Twitter.ie is a domain name and it is very similar to Twitter.com and if you use it for anything similar to the Twitter service, you are very vulnerable to them sending you a cease and desist letter. In other words, in my personal opinion, the name is risky.

I am not sure if you are familiar with the registration of .ie domain names in Ireland but you have to prove your entitlement to the name you are buying, it is not as simple as buying a .com. Which I have done with twitter.ie since last July.
No one said anything about using it so as to confuse it with twitter.com. You have to look at parked revenue and keyword search just like hotels.com and if you by hotels.anything.. you can put a hotel site on it just as long as you don't make it similar to hotels.com so as to confuse..in my opinion, it is not a risky name.

Fair point, I don't know anything about laws in Ireland or the process of registration. And maybe "twitter" has a different usage in Ireland that makes it more common. I do know that you can't sell a name with Twitter in it on Sedo. If you use the name in its generic meaning, then maybe you have a case. But the value of the name derives from its association with the internet service. To put it another way, if the parked revenue and keyword searches are coming from people who think the domain is related to the internet service and not the chirping of birds, then you are profiting from Twitter's name and could be in violation of their trademark. Sorry, I don't mean to rain on your parade here, I just don't think it is as settled as you say. In any case, maybe Twitter won't enforce their trademark and you could make money for a long time before anyone does anything.
