I have over 1 000 followers on Twitter, but what´s the use when every time I want to tweet I get this message: "Something is techically wrong, please try again in a moment" -Frustrating!
The site is getting hit with alot of traffic due to the World Cup. I suggest you just wait for a little bit.
They really need to upgrade 'something'. It's been hit and miss on Twitter for the better part of a month now.
It happens. You think this week was bad, the few weeks prior have been far worse. I know it can be frustrating but it's like your laptop getting BSoD, getting stuck in traffic, somebody not answering their phone when you want them to... You've gotta be zen with this and just go with the flow...
Aside from your current experience. Have you really found Twitter to be a viable marketing platform? If so, any tips or suggestions? For me, "the juice doesn't seem worth the squeeze."
Hi, TechCrunch had a post recently regarding this matter, which might explain your problem: 'As you may have noticed, Twitter has been having a rough month. Due in part to traffic from the World Cup, Twitter has had its worst month in terms of uptime in a year. The Fail Whale has been out in full force, and it’s partially Twitter’s own fault as they’re trying to overhaul their internal network during this time of high traffic. And today they’ve announced another move to help deal with network strain: an API rate limit cut.' Full Post at: Twitter Slashes API Rate Limits In Half Across The Board To Deal With Capacity Issues
