Twitter has made Dell $1 million in revenue

Seems like everyone is cashing in on twitter. It's amazing how something so simple can bring such good results. I find when I announce something via twitter that I get a sudden burst in sales and traffic.

 

hmm really that fantastic for dell , but for you little guys dont expect that social traffic does not sell , organic traffic does

twitter is great, many ppl think it's foolish, but they just don't understand

 

dell makes a million and twitter makes zero, no wonder they need to work on finding revenue

 

Dell is smart to use Twitter as part of the promoting tools, and when there is promotion or new things, all they do is tweet, and we follow, .. .. .. reach the dell website, and read about the new thing, and press buy. And Dell earn money from it.

I believe there are many others similar to Dell, also promote the same way.

okay dell makes money off twitter little guys like us wont bank big with twitter , its does not convert visitors to buyers

 

It's my understanding Dell is pushing more than 10k units a day out the door. A million bucks from twitter means little. How much did they make from people on MSN Chat?

 

Wow. I feel humiliated. Twitter only made me $4.7k in the last two months.

I wish I was Dell.

ya, more and more people are using Twitter to promote their products and services. However, some people dislike receiving replies that are mostly with links.

 

theyre just doing their advertising like many other companies and individuals.

 

Another great example of why we should use twitter for marketing, but personally I havent tried it yet, gonna use it once I'm launching my upcoming website.
