    Create a twitter account for yourself first, see how that works.
    Build your followers for the niche you want to target. Be a real person on Twitter, don't just blast links out.

    The best way to get followers and traffic from twitter is indulge in conversation with others.

    Start replying to others, find out your target market and people start interact with them, let them how your service/ product benefits them etc.

    Apart from that you can start twitter cross promotion.

    Post quality and relevant content which your visitors find interest to read.

    Thumbs up! That's how you get followers: engage users and post relevant content for your target market to share with their followers. It doesn't always have to be content from your site (although that would be really great), but it can be helpful information from other sites within your niche.
