twitter for traffic

can anyone here tell me how can i get a massive followers in twitter so that i can get massive traffic for my blog as well?

 

Everybody wants a massive flood of visitors, bur you're gonna work for it

Here are some basic twitter "rules":

- Set up your twitter account and bio properly. If you're promoting a business, use the logo as picture.
- Follow some blogs that you are interested in via an RSS feed to a feed reader such as Google. Start by posting links to interesting posts on twitter about them with a link to the blog post.
- Twitter is - or should be - about engagement, value and a social experience so dont start by posting sales tweet after sales tweet.
- People appreciate retweets and it is a good way to get noticed by others. All you do is put RT in front of the @username.
- Gain followers: The reason for this is that when you follow people, they will most likely follow you back.
- Twellow, at twellow.com is another great way of finding people to interact with. People here are categorized into all different areas and you can search for those with similar interests to your own.
- Mr Tweet at mrtweet.net is another way of gaining new followers. All you have to do is follow Mr Tweet on twitter and your tweets will be monitored for content and then you will get a Direct Message from “him”.
- Tweetlater at tweetlater.com is a good tool to use with twitter. It allows you to schedule tweets for various times of the day.
- Also check out twitdom at twitdom.com It is a repository for all Twitter related applications and it is just absolutely amazing what there is in there.

 

you need to follow some people on twitter then post your tweets there if you have some informative post then some one can follow you

 

I had same idea like you half year ago and created an Twitter account. First day I get 45 visitors from Twitter. Today I have 3500 followers and can't get even one single visitor regardless to my efforts. I think that Twitter is just useless piece of crap...

 

I think that is because twitter done some changes i have your problem too >>> after i was getting 20-70 visitor now i can not get any visitor from it

 

Twitter doesn't have to be really complicated. Get on there, be active, follow people that interest you. When you find interesting things or have something of value, post it! DO NOT go on twitter with the idea that you need to post all the time. This is a quick way to lose followers. Only post stuff that you think people might find interesting. I'd recommend separate Twitter accounts for different markets though. For example, I have a personal one, it is all about internet marketing primarily. However, I also have a couple of others related to specific businesses where I post things that are relative to that business and follow people in the marketplace.

 

if you folow some people on twitter for sure they in turn would follow you and so would some of their followers

 

Another trick is to use a AutoBlog, with YouTube RSS feeds, now the terms to use for the YouTube Feeds will be the Top 10 Trends on Facebook now, Now you can edit the AutoBlog Plugin to point to 1 Particular URL if you want instead of the Blog Article and you'll have over 6K hits within the hour. It does take a bit of maintenance though to keep swapping out the Youtube Feeds based on the current trends but it's a amazing way to drive traffic anywhere.

 

I think twitter is not the good way to get the traffic. I have 1000 followers after 2 months but I got only 2-5 clicks for 15 -20 post everyday

 

I agree with webar2007.. If you want traffic from twitter. You got to work for it. Setting upa great bio and profile can help you to have more followers. Decent profile and valuable and interesting tweets can get people's attention. You can also communicate and sent direct messages. Tweetlater is a good tool too but it is called socialoomph nowadays..

 

Gain your followers

Be familiar with twitter trends.
search some users in your niche and follow their followers. Then they will follow you back.
unfollow users who are not following you back. you can use "twitter karma" for this. Just google it.
Get some free scheduler tweet posting service. socialoomp is good i think.

Agree with karumi. I've tried to explore twitter and use it to get traffic, but the response is not impressive. Twitter should be about engagement, value and a social experience. Instead i receive a constant flow of more ore less uninteresting sales links.

 

Twitter is very good for marketing if you have patient and build trust with people instead of just using them and seeing them as sales

 

you can use some auto-follow bot, google them

 

Twitter can be great if you know what to do, or a major screw up if you get banned.

 

I've experienced that when you follow someone there's a chance they will follow you too, so you should follow as much people you can. You can also put your twitter link in your signatures and on your sites. This way people who read your posts and like them may also follow your tweets

 

I can't put my finger on it but Twitter annoys me...

 

Using Twitter for traffic is complex. Don't expect to get a lot of traffic if all you're doing is just posting your affiliate links/website link. You'll need to post regular daily updates any person would do. Then, slowly implement your links.

If you target twitter traffic tell use your signature as your twitter link and be active on forums
