Maybe Yes. You can post your site links on twitter and then place affiliate links and ads on those pages. This is what I am doing.

You might also want to consider posting sponsored ads via ad.ly (http://www.ad.ly) or magpie (http://www..be-a-magpie.com). I don't recommend sponsored ads because their website doesn't function correctly. I signed up w/ them and missed an opportunity to advertise because of a site malfunction.

When you want to promote something new on your website, tweet it.
If you've got any special offers or promotions, tweet it.
If you're promoting your own product, tweet it.
If you're promoting an affiliate product, tweet it.
If you've written a blog post or article that your followers may find useful, tweet it.
If you've found something that your followers may find interesting, tweet it.
    Etc, etc.

Use Twitter to build a good relationship with your followers. Just make sure you only tweet stuff that your followers may find useful or contains some quality info.

Do not spam your followers with useless crap, otherwise you'll find them unfollowing you or even blocking you.

No, you'll be lucky to make $1.00/day with 900 followers, your going to need a large number of accounts all niche-spefic followers, then post relevant adverts to those twitter accounts for that niche, it's a very annoying process and it makes next to nothing. You'd have better results promoting CPA offers on Twitter, it's very easy money, dispite the fact you'll only be getting $1.10ish a lead, but it's better then nothing really isn't it.

    yes you can
make sure you just dont spam your followers. 900 followers is good. just try to tweet like " my new post" including your blogs/website's url and try to get traffic . place ads on your site and then you can earn money

Maybe you can tell all the followers that you agree to write advertising posts. Also you can write this in your blog and take lets say $0.05 for every post.

Set up a blog, and if you want to gain/keep followers ONLY post your blog links to your followers. I would say put a link in 1/5 tweets. Occasionally you can put a video in or anything that is full of value.

Setup a mini-site or blog with adsense and/or some affiliate links.
Write attractive content, videos and etc.
Update your twitter with your site details daily...
You can get massive traffic with this. As far as you are having 900 followers, write attractive tweets with link to your website, So, you will get more hits to your website.

There are programs out there, but not sure about their effectiveness. I did join one of these programs, didn't work out for me. I think the main problem is that Twitter users don't like ads... They like useful information, though. So you have to be smart to mix your ads into useful content...
I personally don't think that joining a Twitter ad program would help you much.

I signed up with Sponsored Tweets yesterday. I don't have any experience with them at all, but I know that there are several celebrities and well-known marketers that are earning money from this.

i'd suggest signing up for a sponsored service, and choose affiliate products carefully...keep building your followers, and don't exasperate them with offers, or you'll be more likely to loose them.
