I've question about Twitter. What's following Twitterers ? What's my proffit when I've a lot fallowing ? Thanks. Regards
Well, if you have 100,000 followers.. then you post a link and projects that 5% (5000) of that followers will click on the link. Out of this 5000 referrals, only 10% (500) of them will click adsense ads which will in turn give your revenues.. Thus, a high follower base will end up good earnings for your website. So gain more followers now.
Yup, I am already liking twitter, somehow it sends some nice traffic specially when I have my blogs post automatically converted to twit using a plugin.
Twitter's main benefit for bloggers is actually twofold. First, it generates traffic for your site. Second, it lets you build relationships with your readers and other twitter users (read: future readers, customers, etc.). Third, it's great to have TARGETED followers. They click stuff. Clicking stuff is good, because that can put $ in your pocket.
There's a program out there for free called Hummingbird. It will follow and unfollow people automatically. Chances are good they will follow you in return. There's a good way to get followers. Then you implement what everyone else is saying.
If you are familar with how twitter works you will understand that the more followers you have the more chance of success you have on promotion. If you have 5000 followers then you are twitting and sending your message to 5000 people at one time.
Has anyone heard of the "Traffic Twitter Machine"? It's being touted by Skip McGraff, an ebay king and author. It's cheap - only $27 - thought about purchasing it just to see if it can really work. I like most of Skip's recommendations, as long as they're not too expensive. You can find it at twittertraffic dot com I'll probably buy it later today and let you know how it goes. (I don't work for Skip and am not associated with him in any way)
Where did you get those numbers?? Is it just pure guess or do you have any evidence to back these numbers?
I like how one of the responders above linked to a DP thread where he was selling a service to add twitter followers...heh. Here's my method for adding followers. It's pretty much the same as the services you pay for, only it's free. It's not a service, by the way, just a method. I started out getting over 100 followers in two hours. I've done very little since, and I just broke 3,000 today. Plus, my followers are more targeted than just a bunch of randoms. Granted, there are randoms in my followers, but many of them are people who share similar interests with me (such as Twitter, affiliate marketing, politics, etc.). Anyway, here's how I grow my followers. http://thesugarbuzzproject.net/how-i-got-100-new-twitter-followers-in-two-hours/ That's a hypothetical situation. Those aren't *real* numbers, but it's an explanation of how it works. Absolutely, provided you have followers...heh. The more you have, the more you can make with your tweets. For example, using the Magpie ad network, I am now getting over 9GBP per tweet. It started at .21 and has increased steadily with my follower rate. Amen.
I guess if your sending traffic to adsense loaded blogs or sites, it can get you a few clicks. I have about 3000 followers on 2 accounts and get some clicks on my cpa offers I send out, but not many complete offers. It's really hard to target traffic on Twitter, but there are a few techniques to get a lot of followers. Someone mentioned Hummingbird program and that it is free. Not free as far as I know, unless you get a cracked version, and it is possible I suppose. I do use Hummingbird, and its a great way to get followers, basically automates the process of just following a bunch of people, and most of them auto follow you back.
I agree that twitter may bring visitors to your blog, but most of times I find they visit for few seconds only..
But still twitter is seem very powerfull. In just couple of hours + 30 followers. And they have all soft of thins such as jobs, news etc
