    I would think you would want to find the kind of followers you want ... similar interests or keywords ... then find a big fish, someone who has a lot of followers and start following them. Create dialog and they will probably follow you back. Works for me.

    Just follow the people on twitter particularly from US and do message them, interact with them and i must suggest you not to buy twitter followers, do it manually, yes surely it will take time.
