Has anyone tried Twitter and link back to one of the e-books on clickbank? Seems like it would be easy money...

Not as easy as it seems.

I've personally sent over 100,000 hops through my twitter lists and only got a few conversions. (luckily they were recurring)

Definitely not a tactic I would implement in my future campaigns.

Fortunately I have seen this before I implement that stupid campaign. Thanks to Al for saving my marketing energy! :)

Personally, I've always thought clickbank sucks.

    Just my opinion though :)

Unless Twitter traffic is targeted, one can't expect good conversions from it.

This has been asked several times on DP, try searching twitter, clickbank ;)
It's not a good idea, twitter is for interacting IMO, not for spamming

It's a great way to get banned from Twitter.

Twitter is a different approach. There are certain website's that can be monetized with twitter traffic, however you'll need to gain credibility from your twitter followers.

Twitter and clickbank go hand in hand. I get lots of traffic from twitter becuase I focus on systems to bring them to my blog.

When using twitter to promote products you don't want to always tweet about a product. You must talk about other things as well like whats going on in your day. If you keep posting links to products allday long you will only be seen as a spammer.

Keep this rule in mind. 80% you are posting about your life and 20% you are promoting products.
