Hey i Just thought a great idea to make some extra money online. So my twitter account is just growing like crazy. i have 710 followers in 4 1/2 days and i will have 1000 or close to 1000 tommorow or late tommorow. My Idea is to charge money for Promoting your website. So I will for 5$ or somthing will send out 2 tweets a day promoting a website, blog, twitter account whatever. I think this is a good idea because first think about it once i hit 1000 i can say if 1-5% of my followers click each link that is 10-50 clicks per link then could be 20-100 people go to your website and check it out for 5 bucks so it is a good deal. they can pay me through paypal so this could work. If i could get 5 people a day for a month lets say it's a 30 day month then i could make 750 bucks a month and then i can start up my other ventures! Tell me your thoughts i think this what im going to do!
I think you are little too ambitious that people would straight away pay you $ 5 for supposed visits by 40-50 odd people. You have to be more realistic in your assumptions, not to have disappointment in future! Btw.....your thread title reminded me of twitter's present condition...Twitter crash party! Regards, RightMan
Ya i might have to lower it idk how i should go doing this. I mean 1000 followers took me 20 hours to get once i finaly get there. It hard because twitter wont let you follow everybody. So i mean idk how to do this. i thought 5$ was a pretty small amount. i mean think about it i have 1000 followers. out those followers about 300 of them will listen to me at any given point 500 them are spammers and 200 dont know what they are doing so i mean im still trying to work the details. i mean it's not a rip off. i mean it actualy pretty good i track my links i get 2-5 clicks everytime i sent my blog out so i mean one i reach 1000 i expect that number to double. I might just work on getting over 2k in followers! lol
your great idea has already been thought of many times before, check in the buy sell trade forum. if your followers are interested in a specific subject then you could be successful advertising sites around the same subject.
Well, i have over 2,500 followers on twiter. So i can ask higher pay than you? Anyone interested, we can talk about lowering the rate.
Either you're doing something terribly wrong, or i'm doing something terribly right. I have a few different twitter accounts for different clients and projects - none of them has more than 200 followers (the accounts are quite new and very targeted) - and I get 3 to 10 clicks from people - not bots ( I track with lo.ly so I know this) for every link I post. The point I'm making isn't a "my percentage is bigger than yours" one - it's about targeting - twitter's like any form of marketing - pointless if you're not reaching the right audience.
