Twitter Automation Program

Can someone recommend a really good Twitter automation program (or whatever it's called) that doesn't kill the computer?

I'm using hummingbird and it's good for following people, but I've heard a lot of good stuff about tweetattacks

 

Oh, maybe I needed to be more clear.

I want a program that will automatically spit out the tweets it's fed at a scheduled time.

Hootsuite can be used to send tweets at scheduled time. For other automated programs following back, welcome messages - you can try SocialOOmph.

 

twitterfeed is a pretty in-depth auto service and will allow you to post automated Tweets based on the corresponding RSS feed. The settings are pretty straight forward to account for number of Tweets, times of Tweets and specific feed (#) tags as well. Multiple accounts are also supported. Keep in mind that the RSS feeds you utilize and be either yours, or any other on the web - to include your FaceBook wall feed.

That looks like it's only for blog feeds. WP already has a plug in that will tweet blog feeds. I haven't used it yet & I don't know how it could possibly divide a huge post into 140 characters, but it's there.

I'm looking to insert my own tweets & also find people who are interested in my products & get them to follow me, etc.

Thanks to you & everyone else. I'm still trying to find the best software for the best price.

Someone told me about Twitter Adder which is server side, but he said after he inserted a 5th account (mine), it started crashing his computer.

Plus he has to leave it on for 24 hours.

While Tweet Attacks looks good, it's pricey AND it only takes Pay Pal.

I'm using TweetAttack and so far everything is working well, exepted maybe some weird erors from time to time but else it's a great tool

Hootsuite is great! Automated tweets and klout scores for each user. I am researching a new Twitter tool soon and will post the outcome. I would rather not mention the name until I have had a chance to try it out.

 

What's a klout score?

P.S. Do you have some twitter accounts that have some really nice backgrounds? I'm not sure I really need one, but some guy told me EVERYONE has one. I did want to put my logo & sites & phone number on the left panel, but I have no idea how to do that.
