Everyones know that Twitter is the Word of the 2009, i would like to know how best can one utilize twitter as a marketing tool.

In-short Twitter is a communication tool for like-minded people.

 

Create a Twitter name thats closest to your website title - If this is not practicle (I.e long title name) then something subject related.

Get lot's of followers... - To do that you can use a Twitter adder programme or do it manually -

Tell them about your new articles. Dont just post crap, tell them "new article: How To Make Money Online"

or

"How To Make Money With Twitter"

then thank them for the support...

search for people in same niche. follow them. make related posts. be active. thats all pretty much.

 

Well first try to get good amount of followers.. then using ur sites promote ur twitter account after that promoting would be easy

Twitter has worked very well for me. My number one tip is to keep it personal. A corporate Twitter account without a personal identity is usually cold and uninviting. Even if you're promoting a business or web site, develop personal relationships with other Twitter members. Let them get to know you as a person and build trust. The business will follow.

Same as a real world social network - help people, keep the dialogue going, no heavy sales pitches, etc ...

 

The best use of Twitter is to build relationships with people that you have a common interest with. If you are marketing, connect with people that are in your target market and make sure you are sending out good content and information to them. Once you have developed a sense of community, send your links out to you optin pages or sales pages (as long as it isn't spammy).

People buy from people they know,like and trust. twitter can help with that.

Twiiter is nice but it's not a complete solution. Use Twitter Adder to make your life easier. Also find twitter users that follow your competitors (or friends) and follow each other. Tweet ofen saying things of real value (this will set you apart from 90% of Twitter users)

Send direct messages to followers, reply to tweets, retweet friends' tweets... Connect with other people.
