[Twitter App] I think I found the next BIG thing! Nice way to promote your website!

Nice to see that ploked! It growing fast...and at some point a big boom will happen and it will be very popular

I signed up for Twitter just now and also just signed up for Twittley as well both for the first time just now. Do I need to have followers on my main twitter account for Twittley to work or do I just start submitting links to Twittley?

 

You don't need to have followers on twitter but more followers - more traffic for you and higher karma on twittley ,you can find tips and tricks to have them faster
also you can follow people via twittley and most of them will follow you too

not sure if anyone has this problem on twittley, but it looks like links with a "#" in it don't work...i submitted one a few days ago and get a page not found error on twittley...

It works ok now It filters now all special characters.

Btw,thanks for all good thoughts about Twittley I'm glad you like it.

Soon there are new options coming(notifications when your news get comments,when you hit front_page,you will be able to change text:Hey check this out,you will be able to add friends,follow them)

I just opened the site and saw new design I like it
Also new features are there...no more "spammy Check this out" but it shows like retweet e.g. :

RT @someone Title of the link

So this way you will get a lot of followers because all followers of persons who voted the link will see you were the first one who tweeted it Also if those persons RT twittley will count those votes as it checks for Retweets with your username and title of the link you submitted every 10 minutes

Seems pretty cool. I just submitted a blog post but it didn't give a link in the re-tweet. Is that they way it's supposed to work? The tweet just had the title of my article but no link?

 

This is exactly the sort of app that is required for Twitter. There are so many new Twitter apps out there though at the moment, that it is hard for them all to be noticed, but this looks like it could prove useful. Even for those with few followers. Will give it a go and report back on the stats.

When someone votes on a link you submitted they will also post and update on twitter e.g.

RT @yourusername Title of voted post link

So you will get followers + traffic Awesome

Twittley looks like one of the many digg clones. I don't think its got anything to do with twitter.
