I've read that you can get your site or Web 2.0 properties indexed (quickly) if you post their links on Twitter. Personally, I don't believe it. Has anyone heard this???
This isn't really credible, I think there are too many Tweets put out every second that Google can't crawl them all for links. You'll have better results submitting to social news sites (Reddit, SlashDot, NewsVine, Digg...)
First - the term "web 2.0" is over used. If its on the internet, whether its web 1.0 or web 2.0, its getting indexed. Second - I doubt that twitter is going to help get your inner pages indexed any faster then anything else.
It could depend on whose page the tweet shows up on. Some peeps have Twitter Accounts with huge PR, like Matt Cutts: http://twitter.com/mattcutts His Twitter page is a PR7, and he follows only 199 people so you can believe that those links will get crawled. We all know it won't pass juice, but it will still crawl. Find someone like that to follow you and you'll have no problems!
I never ever try twitter to get quick index but Yes web2.0 technology can give your site index very quick some time I get it with in 18 hours or less time what I did for that I only do social bookmarking my url
