I had a huge discussion with my buddy the other day regarding the lower usage of forums and higher usage of twitter. I barely use twitter because there is to much going on at one time, i prefer forums because there is one single topic which you can pay attention to. But alot of younger people these days , alot i know are using twitter and never even used a forum!. so my question is this, do you think that as more people use twitter and less use forums will this hurt our attention spans? for the 5 minutes a day i look at twitter I feel like i lose some intelligence.. so what do you think? Will this create idiotocracy ?
Well there is no permanent in the world of Internet but only a 301 redirection. lol. Well I try as much to educate myself on new things, I use Twitter and post at forums at the same time. It's not that bad really.
