    There are plugins for wordpress blogs that will auto tweet your posts to your followers.
    Also plugins for wordpress so that your visitors can tweet your posts to their followers.

    Keep in mind, you can only tweet out to your own followers.
    Not everyone on twitter.

    On my blog I use tweetUpdate plug-in it tweets as soon as I write a new blog.
