    i think that you should think about blending the image into the top section, and add a nice logo text...

    Good banner image but it is placed at the left most corner of the site, try to move it to the center of the site and also I think 100% width is not so good for the forum, try to make it as 75%, looks good..

    Top image is too big in my opinion, also try an ad in the top right corner?
