Just finished Season 2 of Narcos Mexico. Good, can't wait for the next series though!

Twin Peaks is a show to check out! It hit a string of hot social topics at the right time, and it came when there was no Netflix - It would have dark and bizarre episodes that you would have to think about until next week with anticipation.

In the early nineties there were some very popular themes prevalent in the media; such as, a concern for everything coming out of the Pacific Northwest; Microsoft was the largest company on the planet, the grunge scene in Seattle; conspiracy theory abounded (like the X-Files). Serial killers were a “thing” at the time; crime scene investigations and killer profiling were becoming a major cultural issue, as seen in movies like Silence of the Lambs, and HBO quality miniseries weren’t there; Aside from the occasional Masterpiece miniseries, there weren’t many adult-themed shows at the time.

 

I watched the lord of the rings and only, an amazing series.

 

I am currently watching The Crown on Netflix and I highly recommend it

 

I enjoyed the storyline surrounding Travelers for the 3 seasons it was around. Still worth watching if time travel interests you. We just finished watching The Queen's Gambit. Enjoyed the fictional storyline w/the main character being created/molded together by strengths and weaknesses of real-life Grandmasters. It only has 7 episodes I think, so you could knock it out in a day or two.

 

Breaking bad if you didn't watch. Walking dead but only 3 first seasons. TV shows maybe wrestling it is quite attractive sometimes.

 

Stranger Things, Rick and Morty, The Witcher and Cursed

 

German Netflix original Dark is the last show I've watched, and it's pretty impressive!
Also, Danish detective show The Bridge (Broen) is brilliant.
If you're into animated series, BoJack Horseman is one of my all-time favourites.

I started watching Skins, it's incredibly interesting!

 

For me, La casa de papel is the best masterpiece in the history of the series. It's incredibly addictive, you sit and watch the episodes over and over again.
