    Hey,

So back in Novemeber, I had Rhys Davies, a digital point forum member here, take my domain name in a paypal scam, (check my previous posts for details). We decided that instead of him cutting me out completely, we would share the site 50/50, well it seems that he has gotten greedy and has not share any of the revenue that TV Links DB is generating.

Is there anything I can do legally to get the domain back?
I live in the US, and he lives in the UK, I have his contact information here from a whois query:

    Davies, Rhys rizzodavies@gmail.com
    The old chapel, Newbridge Road
    Laugharne, Wales sa33 4sh
    United Kingdom
    07935588098

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance

    Tom

So a member took your domain name in a scam and then (who) decided to do a share? It would sound like if a domain name was taken in a scam, you should have contacted the registrar for help and advice as soon as it happened. Waiting only will hurt your chances of getting the domain name back.

And then contact an attorney who will be able to offer you professional advice. Internet Litigators might be able to help you

I'm setting a $500 bounty if you find Rhys Davies and him turn into the local police.

He stole my website http://tvlinksdb.com and has put Zango ads on the site and is currently profiting from the website that I developed and built traffic to.

I can provide all documentation that shows that I am the rightful owner of the site, and that it was stolen from me. I have done some initial digging into getting information on Rhys Davies which I will post later, however since I am located in the US, and he located in the UK, I am unable to take appropriate measures.

Thanks for all the help, and good luck with the $500 bounty.

I don't think bounty hunters would work in the UK, and to be honest the police would just laugh... being from the UK, i know that the police care more about traffic offences than anything else. I don't think the local police would arrest him just for the cyber crime... and i can't see anyone going for a bounty... by creating a bounty, it makes you look to be a bad guy... do yourself a favour, contact legal professionals and find where you stand.

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. Someone scammed your domain and then you made a deal with him. Sounds like a real smooth move.

Why in the world would you turn his crime into a deal? What the heck were you thinking?

Your story does not make any sense and is simply not believable - if it is true, then you probably deserve it for being such a fool.

If your willing to give $500, Get a cheap flight to wales, Check out his house to see if its only him who lives there.
    Then kick off his door....
Look in his firefox saved passwords folder and get back domain access.

If I was to offer $500 for something that got stolen I would have already done something similar to the above because $500 is alot to offer for somthing that belonged to you in the first place.

If you dont like the hands on approach maybe you can try calling him.

Kicking down people's door and breaking into their house is a crime in the UK just like in the US if you didn't know. :p

This being a private transactions, it is best to settle privately. For those who are offering dubious advice, I would like to advice you that what you are saying is on a public forum accessible by all.
