Do you agree that .tv domains do not have very good search results such as in a Google search. It seems to me that .com, .net and .org are always at the top. Your take?
.TV have not been around nearly as long as the domains you have mentioned. Also, there really aren't too many .TV sites launched in comparison with the big three. One more thing is it may just be that their aren't that many .TV sites in what you are searching for. That said, I believe extensions are a real factor and right now .tv is going to be weighed less favorably than an established site that is more likely to have text content than video.
Whatever extension other than COM will not display great performance. I would say Google's "top-ten" is COM, NET, ORG, INFO, CO.UK, ORG.UK, DE, US, EU, BIZ After which I can see WS, NAME, CC, IN, and EVEN CN, but rarely mobi or TV
