Hi! I just want to share my observations about modern TV - there is tremendous stream of information coming from the screen. I can't watch TV more than an hour a day because my brain begins to "boil" from the amount of the information! I think there are too many shows and advertisements on TV that it can be harmful for our mental health. What do you think of it?

People don't watch all channels on TV so I can't say that the information has indeed overload but simply flowing continuously. You might be just watching too much and I think you don't necessarily need to get all that information NOT unless your that thirsty for some. It can cause you stress mate, try watching SpongeBob Squarepants for a change! lol. :D

There is a great variety of programs targeting various types of viewers. Most of them have useless information for a particular individual. Pointless zapping will usually just get you tired and full of useless information.

To avoid this some filters could be useful: what you want to watch for entertainment, informative or educational purposes.
