I feel like messing around trying to make one, does anyone have a list of specs or a link to a tutorial that explains it? (what size, resolution, colours, file formats etc). I'm from Australia, the exact specs probably differs slightly from country to country (technology always does everything the hard way!)

I'd like to know this too. I'm in country Victoria, and by the looks of our regional 'country TV' ads, not many advertising companies know the correct specs either. Lots of our local ads have out of phase sound (that weird flanging tinny sound), and they look like they were filmed on VHS tape and then dropped in the bath.

I've always wondered what format the TV stations need the ads provided in, and on what media. Surely it can't be as simple as an AVI on a CDR/DVD?
