I just recently got Visual Basic 2005 and was wondering if anyone knew where to get any good tutorials or books on C++ that are specific for VS2005 pro. All the books i have found are for 2003 and VS has changed since then.
Although they focus on the express edition MSDN have an awesome set of video tutorials which can help you undertsand the basic concepts of Visual Basic 2005. http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vb/learning/ http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/visualc/learning/default.aspx The second URL is for C++, I don't know what those tutorials are like though.
For books, I recommend buying a book instead of downloading it. It's best to have a 'hard' copy instead of a pdf sitting there on your desktop. For tutorials on C++ I suppose cprogramming.com is a good place to begin your venture into the language. For basic, I would go with what Net-Margin said.
Well i was learning VB,by Video Tutorials and to be honest its the best thing, best way to learn, easiest and by far the fastest.I have a couple of links so check it out www.ebooksportal.org - For Ebooks and Video tutorials i think www.blueportal.org-Also for Ebooks you may have to register but its free www.flazx.com - EBOOKS nice! and Video tutorials i think www.giuciao.com - Ebooks www.seangreasley.com - Very nice video tutorials
