TutorialFeed.com - Unique Tutorial Website

    Hello there!

I just released another website (it's more of a redesign and develop), TutorialFeed.com. The website's purpose is to crawl RSS feeds listed in a database and look for new tutorials. It runs on a Cron Job, and therefore requires little to no site administration.

Looking for reviews, constructive criticism, complements, all of it :)

I love the dark design. Your Google AdSense blending is very okay, blends nicely. The only problem is that the meta (dates and comment count) information does not fit the rounded rectangle. Fix it and it will be okay.

    I love the site. ;D

*remember - do not use high-load functions in Cron Jobs.

What screen resolution are you viewing the site on? I'm on 1280x1024 and there's plenty of room in the boxes. I'll work on fixing them though :). Thanks!

Looks good, to the point! But may provide more information, and some more graphic teasers especially since your a tutorial site; show off your skills :)

I love it! The design is REALLY nice.

You may run into a bit of trouble with your links unit placement. As far as I know over-blending ads to trick users into clicking are looked down upon by the guys at the big G, so I'd first email them to see if it's okay.

    All the best,
    Liam

Normally I'd say less is more, but it's missing something...

I don't think so, seeing as though there's "Ads by Google" in plain white about 20 pixels away from the ad itself.

The site looks very nice, I just submitted my site to it. I remember seeing this site a little while ago, and I was sad to see it go offline for quite a while.

Anywho, a problem I encounted was the captcha, or the image verification code. I had a very hard time telling the difference between the letter O and the number 0, the pixel font didn't help that either. I recommend you try and sort that problem out. :)

Thanks for all the wonderful replies :). I'll check out the ad placement with Google to make sure I'm alright. And Eli - I noticed the same thing. Removing all the zero's now, so they'll only be O's :).

    Thanks!

Your site looks very nice, but I have one major suggestion.

1-You need some content explaining your site, what it is all about, how it works, the type of tutorials that you have, etc.

This can be an "About Us" page, or it can be on the front page, or on both, but I think it needs to be there. You may get a lot of people leaving your site because they don't understand the concept. I know that your URL basically captures the essence of your site, but a more in depth explanation would benefit new users.

Your site is very nice, and I think you have a great idea.

Thanks for the suggestion ChaosFoo. This is the second version of the site, and that was present on the previous one. I'll be sure to add it in soon :).

Great site design. I like how it fades out toward the end of the page. I would recommend that you provide more info on the left site to make the site look more even.

    keep up the good work.

That reply, "What script are you using?" made me chuckle. Not a script bro, 100% unique website coded by yours truly :). Was considering scripting it, but I want to keep it unique and viable for a sale later.

Thanks for the replies and all the comments, helps me out greatly :).

Didn't know the precise value of the site, but thanks for giving me your input brarpavi ;).
