Hello, I am interested in knowing what you think about my latest project, TutorialCut. It is a tutorial index site which will soon contain hundreds of Photoshop tutorials organized into a number of categories. If you have any comments or suggestions please let me know. Additionally if you have any tutorials please don't hesitate to submit them - it only takes about 30 seconds. Thanks
not bad. I think that a different color scheme would be nice, with a more 2.0ish logo that is a bit bigger and cleaner rounded corners would be ideal, but that may not be possible. so just the colors could be a bit better
I like how clean the design is. The menu bar on the left is a bit empty.. I would add another adsense ad there to balance the height with the right menu bar.
Sweet site! I added a bookmark for reference. I would suggest a search box, but other than that it looks pretty solid.
heres a suggestion... use a layout that makes people go: WOW!!! they know how to use photoshop. that way, it makes them feel better using the site
nice site...while some of the tutes look hard for beginners I'm sure anyone could get good at photoshop on their own by practicing here. Nice touch with the "what's happening" section - although I suppose the danger is if your traffic is low the site looks dead.
Thanks for all your comments Ill be working on it over the next few weeks adding new features etc. Ive still got to add a search box etc. Keep them coming!
Nice site.. I am always looking for photoshop tutorials... Can you recommend me a great step-by-step tutorial on web 2.0 logo and psd slicing/coding ?
Thats one of the problems of being colorblind It all looks blue to me. Ill ask my girlfriend to make some color adjustments Meethere - Thanks for the comments As for recommending you some tutorials right now I don't think I can. The site was launched only a few hours ago so there aren't hundreds on there yet. If you find one though please submit it to TutorialCut Keep the comments & suggestions coming!
No - Its all custom coded by me. So I coded it how I want. Im in the process of coding the search part of it.
Thanks for all the comments Has anyone got any suggestions or possible improvements? Also in case your interested you may want to look at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=320998 Thanks
