Description:

TutorialGods.com offers free tutorials for (web)designers and developpers (link might be down because dreamhost.com is making some changes) This sale consists of the following:

- domain tutorialgods.com (registered at godaddy.com till 10/25/2007.
- custom administration panel worth of $200, features explained further down.
- database with all quality tutorials.
- PSD and XHTML/CSS coded copy of the design.

I started TutorialGods.com as a hobby website end january. I'm sorry to let it go so soon but exams are coming up and require all of my attention. I will help the buyer with setting everything up and how to run the website. The custom administration panel was paid for and has great functions and works perfectly. The template was coded by someone found on clantemplates but messed some things up for internet explorer 6.0 and made it fixed instead of fluid, but because of the simple template any coder can simply change this. (My template coder responded with: "Sorry I don't have IE 6.0 *offline never to be seen online again*")


User Functions of the script:

• Users can rate tutorials. Users are logged so they cannot rate multiple times. There's also a (simple) anti cheat system to detect proxies.
• Users can report tutorials. Users fill in a message and this can be viewed in the AdminCP.
• Simple users online script and Most users online.

Administrative Functions of the script:

• News Management, add or remove news items that are automaticly displayed on the right side of the website.
• Category Management, add, edit or remove (sub)categories.
• Tutorial Management, Tutorial Panel in which tutorials can be added. You add the Title, upload the preview image, description, pick an authors name (optionally set a website of the author) pick the category and subcategory, and write the tutorial in the tutorial panel. You can also choose to edit or remove tutorials.
• Active Reports view, view reported tutorials, check the users IP and message.

Revenue Details:

The website earned around $113 within less than 30 days in Google Adsense only. Screenshots are uploaded (I'm sorry for the dutch language, but it shouldn't be a problem considering Google Adsense is the same in most languages). I've also recieved 2 emails of users that asked for a Donation function, and if used properly I believe you can easilyrecieve several donations a month. I've also done some experimenting and will tell the buyer how to increase the revenue by some simple methods.

Traffic Details:

Tutorialgods.com recieved over 50,000 pageviews since 27th of January. Nearly 90% of the traffic comes from Tutorial Index websites or graphic forums where users discuss tutorials found on TutorialGods. Some mouth-to-mouth advertising and about 180 hits from google and 50 from Digg (I didn't add the articles but I guess somebody did). Most tutorials have been added to the listing websites, but some haven't and can still be submitted for easy traffic. One has already been submitted to Pixel2Life.com and should be online in about 2 weeks. Even when no tutorial is listed at the time, traffic is still above 600 unique users a day. Is there a way to disable that Adsense frame at the top after clicking to view the tutorials?

yes you can simply choose to remove it or keep it there, however I've recieved about 20 clicks on that ad so it might be worth keeping. You can choose to decrease its size as well.

The site, as you can read in my first post, is less than 30 days old, established on 27th january. So no, i have no past revenue stats except from 27 till 31th of january, which you can see in the screenshot.

however if you worry about PR and linkbuilding, the site has had no PR update as of yet but I've added it to over 40 directorys manually and ive build some link exchanges too. a search on yahoo's site explorer told me i have around 550 backlinks
