Hi all, So I've decided to share with you a LEGAL way to make MORE money with AdSense, which Google itself provides. Basically, I am 100% sure that 4/5 out of AdSense users do not know this way to increase their revenues hence I wrote this tutorial. Did you know that Google allows you to BLOCK ads from poorly performing niches? This is true. Google gives you a tool to analyze how well different niches convert for your AdSense account -- and to disable badly performing niches, alltogether. What is a bad niche ad? Let's say you run a medical website. Yet for some reason you get dating-related ads on your site, that no one from your medical-related niche visitors click on, hence you lose money on pageviews at these badly placed ads. How can you fix this? Google gives you a very simple way to get rid of these bad niche ads. Inside AdSense go to: "AdSense Setup" -> "Ad Review Center" In there it will show you some ads by categories, namely % of ads shown and % of ads by revenue they represent. My suggestion is, remove anything that performs worse than 1:1. Concrete example: Here are some stats from my AdSense, and what I removed... (note that I run a tech-related website). Removed: Politics 0.1% 0.3% Religion 0.0% 0.2% Weight Loss 0.0% 0.6% Final explanation of above stats: Well, let's take the last one for example: Weight Loss 0.0% 0.6% ...this stat means that out 0.6% TOTAL of ads shown, once of "weight loss" ads, they've made me no revenue at all. So... I got rid of them completely. Same thing for Politics 0.1% 0.3% - while this niche took 0.3% of my site's pageviews, it gave only 0.1% revenue, hence it is not a wanted niche for me. Overview The Googe Ad Review Center tool is super easy to work with, but can help you REALLY increase your revenue by blocking low-clicking/paying niches. Have a look into it and you'll see your revenues increasing. P.S. Some green experience points are appreciated if you found this guide useful Also let me know if u got any other questions!
Glad you already got some results! And to you and everyone else that said thank you - you're welcome.
Oh I never notice that features before. It is kinda useful to block unwanted ads. It is good tips. Thanks so much.
How about ad sectioning (section targeting), will it increase our revenue? I think it will.. What's your opinion?
