I think that the header is pretty nice. It's a personal preference, but I'm not too keen on the white background and rectangular tables as it appears a bit cold and craigslist-ish (no offense). Overall, it a good design, very well organized. I'd just change the body style a bit to give the site a more "warm" feeling.
Thanks for the input guys. Logo will be re-designed eventually, that was made quickly I was more concerned to get the site structure and programming side working well then focus on design later down the track, but I think the design at the moment works. As far as ads, this site was designed to make money for me, hence all the ads. But to someone who doesn't know what Adsense or Amazon Affiliate links are, there wouldn't seem to be any ads at all. At the moment it just looks like links to more tutorials. I am however just waiting to see which ad block delivers the least amount of clicks, then I will remove it and let the site grow more before I add it back.
It is certainly very neat and easily navigable, I think once you populate the site, it will be a good source of information.
The google ads are only congested on the watchtutorial page. This is where the money for the tutorial producers is made, that's why there are so many.
OK I've finished the publisher section for Tutorial Paradise now. This allows users to earn all the revenue from the adsense ads that are displayed on their tutorial-watch page. Let me remind you that this is 100%, and your ads appear 100% of the time, so you get all the money from the tutorials you make. No other tutorial site on the net offers a service like this. You need to have submitted 1 tutorial with voice narration to be able to apply for a publisher account. You will be submitting a small clip of you reading out a script. This is used to identify you as the original owner of your tutorials. You can apply to become a publisher at: www.tutorialparadise.com/publisher Tell me what do you guys think of this program?
