Like to create a burst effect like what's in this background fast and easy? Here's how! 1) Open up Illustrator and double click on the Polar Grid Tool to go to the Polar Grid Tool options menu. 2) Set Concentric Dividers to 0 and set Radial Dividers to whatever you want- I chose 12. 3) Now when you draw on the artboard you will get a circle similar to above. 4) To get rid of the outer border, using the Selection Tool (V) right click on the circle and click Ungroup. Now click on the outer border and then hit Delete key. 5) Now click on the Stroke pallette and click Width Profile 4 at the very bottom and you might also need to hit the Flip Along button next to it, and then set the Stroke width a high number to get the starburst effect. 6) Now click the Object tab on the Top Menu and click Expand Appearance to expand the stroke width to a fillable area and then simply use the flat color or gradient to get the burst looking like my logo's background.
