A new website has opened up that allows publishers to get paid for writing tutorials that they are passionate about in the technology world. All that is needed is a Google AdSense account. From programming to computer video cards, your passion of choice should be easy to find to write about!

Please take a look around and let me know what you think.

and yes, it is a little barren right now as the site was just opened :)

Nice website.. good idea. What is your source of revenue though? Just the ads? The website isn't up-to-par for a tutorial website though. :(

Yeah it is a ad revenue sharing site. That is my next step to add more tutorials to it to help the search engines help people find it easier.

Of course, you can write tutorials as well :) It is a anyone can join/publish network type of deal.

What can be done to improve this to make it more "tutorial" like website?

One of the things I know I need to add already are the counts of tutorials in the directory page.

I meant that the layout isn't that nice, but it's a good design.

The design is fine. The concept is good. You can get a few extra articles this way only if you start getting some traffic, because if your site doesn't have traffic, people won't submit tutorials to your site; they'll just put it up on their own blogs/sites etc.
So, you'll have to make the initial effort of making lots of content. Once you've got that done, and some traffic coming in, you might expect people to contribute. But the initial effort has got to be yours.

    I checked with Firefox ;)

Concept is good and nice design. But I really feel you can have a better navigation bar at the top. :)

I agree with this very much! I am in the process of writing several tutorials, just basic ones with PHP and what not to get some of the "little" content available. You can't see them right now because they are saved as drafts. I want to get around 50 or so tutorials before I really expect to see a decent amount of traffic. And yes, I know I have to provide content :) I designed this entire site starting off as a point that I can make a tutorial site that people can view / read and I figured hey, why not make it so other people can contribute as well and possibly earn some cash.

One thing I do want to do with the Top navigation is create a drop down menu of the directory structure of the tutorials. I really do not like the way one navigates through the directory right now, because you are basically searching blind so to speak.

This drop down menu will have a consistant view of all the directories as you click on them and search farther into the structure. That is my project for now :)

I have seen this script before but I like what you did with the content, it is specialized which is a nice change.

I am not wild about the logo as it looks amatuerish to me but the site itself is functional. It is missing something as it seems to bla (I know great descriptor there).

I would also change the font of your menu items...again not very professional. This site needs to exude professioanlism...it is a site meant for learning things.

Also, it would be a great idea if the user could see how many tuts are in each cat so they do not click on empty ones and waste their time, although hopefully you will have no empty cats so maybe that does not matter much.
