    Do as Jorge05r suggests, start with w3schools.com; this will school you on the basics; from there it's all a matter of using is in real world applications.

    There is a lot to potentially learn here, but keep coming back to this forum, and you will eventually get really good at it ( with a little help from your friends here ).
